What a whirlwind weekend we've had in Austin due to the storms in Texas! Despite the challenges posed by the inclement weather, the spirit of competition remained high, making for an unforgettable event.
The unpredictable weather led to delays and venue changes, causing some matches to spill over to Championship Sunday and ultimately resulting in four of the five matches being rescheduled for today, which we're now affectionately dubbing Championship Monday.
Let's dive into some of the highlights:

Andre Daescu had a stellar weekend, showcasing his prowess on the court. Alongside Anna Bright, they achieved the remarkable feat of defeating Anna Leigh Waters and Ben Johns in a thrilling three-game match, with scores of 11-3, 11-9, 11-3. This marks Daescu's second gold in Austin, following his unexpected victory in the men's doubles alongside Matt Wright.
Navratil & Alshon beat the Johns Brothers

Ben Johns vs. Federic Staksrud
The intense rivalry between Ben Johns and Federico Staksrud continues to captivate audiences. Despite Fed's impressive streak of five straight finals appearances, today's matchup marked only their second meeting this year.
